- I received this message less than two hours ago from my sister, Colt's grandmother. I called her at 3:15 PM to see what else she knew and she said he had died. Colt died between 2:30 and 3:00 PM with his family around his bed. He had Muscular Dystrophy and the disease had damaged many of his body organs until his heart finally gave out. (David W. Just got a call from my grandson's (Colt) wife that he is in the ER in Sumter (Toumey Hosp.). He has a blood clot in his lungs. Please pray for him. Doctors are not sure yet how they are going to treat it.

Obituary
Sumter, SC......Jeffrey "Colt" Adam Soles, Jr. age 25, beloved husband of 6 years to Aimee Dianne Baillie Soles, died on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, a son of Jeffrey Adam Soles, Sr., and Susan Brown Humphries. Colt loved to write and was working on a novel. He loved to hunt, fish, read history books and dreamed of traveling the world with his family. He was a wonderful person who would always do anything for anyone that needed his help and will always be missed and remembered as a very loving husband, son, father, brother and friend.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are: a son, Robbie Endress Soles; a daughter, Lorolee Endress Soles; four brothers, Bobby Soles, River Soles, Hugh Humphries IV and Zane Mooneyhan, all of Sumter; two sisters, Tara Scout Soles and Zoe Mooneyhan, both of Sumter; and a step-mother, Tammi Soles of Sumter.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 5:00pm at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Al Sims officiating.
Pallbearers will be his son, brothers and best friends.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on January 15, 2014 from 4-5pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
