  !Aubrey and Katie nicknamed Bill farm for a livng first on the Edwards place and then on the Hartgrove farm in the Mountain View community near King, Stokes County, NC. Aubrey was a good farmer raising tobacco, small grains and cows, as well as other livestock. Aubrey had a great deal of patience with children and taught many neighbor kids how to work in tobacco correctly.
