  Vital Statistics University of KY death index Carrie Gates 8-24-1928 (280824), age: 75, Jefferson Co., Vol 41, certificate: 20039, death volume 28 Susan Caroline Cockerham Gates dau. of Humphrey Cockerham d.in Coryell Memorial Hospital, Gatesville TX. 12-22-57 buired in Oakwood Cemetary (not sure where) lived in Pearl, Tx. about 25 mi east of Gatesville. I talked to the Gatesville library and they only have microfilm back to 1983 on obits, but the Gatesville Messenger has bound archives back to 1937 and they dont do look-ups. Caroline Cockerham granted deeds in 1915,1918,1919 and 1926 with W.M. Corbet Cochran Sr, living in Spain 58-59, recieved inheritance of $32 reared by Dan Allen (possible Viola's and Gracies's father?) Coryell Co. Tx.
