CORRECTION FOR YOUR DATABASE: Flori Ann Rebecca Westmoreland married WILLIAM R. WIMER, not Wayne Wimmer. (Wimer is pronounced with a long "I".) Their marriage license info is at the official Illinois vital statistics web site. (Elizabeth Marshall Westmoreland's family was living in McLean County Illinois during the 1860 Census and they were in Douglas County Minnesota for the 1870 Census.)

MARY JANE WESTMORELAND was born November 10, 1848 in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and died August 8, 1920 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She married William's brother THOMAS WIMER. Their daughter ALICE ELIZABETH WIMER was my great-grandmother. Alice's son CLARENCE THOMAS CRAIG was my grandfather, and he married Hazel Kate Wimer (above).
One of Clarence Thomas and Hazel Kate Wimer Craig's eight children was my father LOREN MELVIN CRAIG.

Jona Anise Marshall was the daughter of Matthew Marshall and Elisabeth Betty Owens.married in 1865. Matthew's 2nd wife.
Elisabeth Owen was 1st married to Jesse Whitfield and had 1 daughter by him Emily Whitfield.
Jona A Marshall married Pinkney Ruffus Bowman son of George W Bowman Sr. and Mary Smith. I do have marriage liscense or other info to prove these names and dates.

WIMER on July 6, 1865 in Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois. She and William are buried in the Lakeside Cemetery In Hastings, Minnesota. Their son BENJAMIN FRANKLIN ('FRANK') WIMER was my great-grandfather. Frank's daughter HAZEL KATE WIMER was my grandmother.
MARY JANE WESTMORELAND was born November 10, 1848 in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and died August 8, 1920 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She married William's brother THOMAS WIMER. Their daughter ALICE ELIZABETH WIMER was my great-grandmother. Alice's son CLARENCE THOMAS CRAIG was my grandfather, and he married Hazel Kate Wimer (above).
One of Clarence Thomas and Hazel Kate Wimer Craig's eight children was my father LOREN MELVIN CRAIG.
Could you tell me who gave you the information on Flori Ann Rebecca? Or else could you give that person my contact information? I've got some questions about the Westmorelands. I'd also be interested in learning of anyone else who is interested in Flori Ann Rebecca and Mary Jane's families.

Here's the info update on my part of the family.
Dad's name was Melvin Earl, not Earl Melvin. My name is Cheryl Dale, not Sissie. Sis is a family nickname. As I told Joe, Sis is family, Dale is friends and my husband's family and Cheryl is police, lawyers and people wanting money. Ha
I have 2 children, Jason Christopher Blanford and Matthew Neil Blanford. Oh, my husbands' name is Joseph Neil Blanford.
My brother's name is Ronald Earl Marshall and he has 2 children, Liz and Sara. He was married to Charlotte Yates Marshall but they divorced years ago. Brenda Ryan, 71, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away at Sycamore Shoals Hospital on Saturday, July 19, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Wayne C. Ryan and Bertha Marshall Ryan.
Ms. Ryan retired as a medical secretary at the V.A. Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy and Ella Marshall, and her paternal grandparents, William C. and Dora Ryan.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Charlotte Ryan, Johnson City; a niece, Kathy Ryan Dahlman and husband Mark, Huntsville, Ala.; and three grandnieces, Ali, Kara and Lauren Dahlman, Huntsville, Ala.

On Patton Marshall and Catherine Gros's son Gerry, it is spelled Jerry, and he did marry Glaydis Ball Reynolds, and they did have a son nammed Jery(notGerry), but they did not have a son named Mike. Jerry then married after Glaydis to Penny, and had 2 children Zachary Scott Marshall, and Rose Marshall, then he married a Angie Kidd, but they are now divorced.
Rebeccah Marshall and June Ball's daughter Sherlie married Carl Roger and had 2 sons Travis, and Christopher. Then she maarried Sammy Holmes, but now they are divorced. So I don't know where Mike comes in I have nerver heard of him.
One more. Ethal Mae Marshall and Claude Ball's children are listed as Donnie, Scottie, Jeff, and Gary. But Donnie is supposed to be Donna. She married Lonnie Ball, son of Rebeccah Marshall and June Ball. They had a son named Joshua Ball. Then Lonnie remarried to a Jennifer Boardwine. They have one son but I am not sure on the name.

My given name is Joseph Edgar Jones,although, I would prefer Milton to Edgar,lol. Supposedly, my first name was given to me by the doctor who delivered me, (at home). Edgar was my father's middle name. I have a question if you don't mind. The picture of Martin Marshall's headstone, was it taken in North Carolina? I had read somewhere, that his gravesite was about 6 miles north of Winston-Salem, off of Baux Mtn. Rd. If you will indulge me a little more, are you familiar with the "Marshall dna project". It is supposedly a program that is trying to link the male descendants of William Marshall through dna. Just wondering. I'm the great-great-grandaughter of BOTH Flori Ann Rebecca Westmoreland AND her sister Mary Jane Westmoreland. They married brothers. Then one of each of their grandchildren married each other (2nd cousins). Those were my grandparents.
CORRECTION FOR YOUR DATABASE: Flori Ann Rebecca Westmoreland married WILLIAM R. WIMER, not Wayne Wimmer. (Wimer is pronounced with a long "I".) Their marriage license info is at the official Illinois vital statistics web site. (Elizabeth Marshall Westmoreland's family was living in McLean County Illinois during the 1860 Census and they were in Douglas County Minnesota for the 1870 Census.)

FLORI ANN REBECCA WESTMORELAND was born Feb. 13, 1847 in Winston Salem, Stokes Co., NC, and died May 24, 1896 in Hastings, Dakota County, Minnesota. She married WILLIAM R. WIMER on July 6, 1865 in Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois. She and William are buried in the Lakeside Cemetery In Hastings, Minnesota. Their son BENJAMIN FRANKLIN ('FRANK') WIMER was my great-grandfather. Frank's daughter HAZEL KATE WIMER was my grandmother.
MARY JANE WESTMORELAND was born November 10, 1848 in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and died August 8, 1920 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She married William's brother THOMAS WIMER. Their daughter ALICE ELIZABETH WIMER was my great-grandmother. Alice's son CLARENCE THOMAS CRAIG was my grandfather, and he married Hazel Kate Wimer (above).
One of Clarence Thomas and Hazel Kate Wimer Craig's eight children was my father LOREN MELVIN CRAIG.
Could you tell me who gave you the information on Flori Ann Rebecca? Or else could you give that person my contact information? I've got some questions about the Westmorelands. I'd also be interested in learning of anyone else who is interested in Flori Ann Rebecca and Mary Jane's families.
I have a little more information about the names of Elizabeth Marshall's children and all of their birthdates. I also have the names of many of the children and grandchildren of F.A. On Patton Marshall and Catherine Gros's son Gerry, it is spelled Jerry, and he did marry Glaydis Ball Reynolds, and they did have a son nammed Jery(notGerry), but they did not have a son named Mike. Jerry then married after Glaydis to Penny, and had 2 children Zachary Scott Marshall, and Rose Marshall, then he married a Angie Kidd, but they are now divorced.
Rebeccah Marshall and June Ball's daughter Sherlie married Carl Roger and had 2 sons Travis, and Christopher. Then she maarried Sammy Holmes, but now they are divorced. So I don't know where Mike comes in I have nerver heard of him.
One more. Ethal Mae Marshall and Claude Ball's children are listed as Donnie, Scottie, Jeff, and Gary. But Donnie is supposed to be Donna. She married Lonnie Ball, son of Rebeccah Marshall and June Ball. They had a son named Joshua Ball. Then Lonnie remarried to a Jennifer Boardwine. They have one son but I am not sure on the name.

CORRECTION FOR YOUR DATABASE: Flori Ann Rebecca Westmoreland married WILLIAM R. WIMER, not Wayne Wimmer. (Wimer is pronounced with a long "I".) Their marriage license info is at the official Illinois vital statistics web site. (Elizabeth Marshall Westmoreland's family was living in McLean County Illinois during the 1860 Census and they were in Douglas County Minnesota for the 1870 Census.)
