Yes, David, his name was Jacob LANSDALE. I think probably in some older records the two spellings might have been used since people didn't necessarily know how it was spelled. But going back generations before him, on church and will records it is spelled without the extra D.It has been spelled without that extra D for as long as I can remember. I wasn't complaining, I just thought you might want to know. Thank you for your reply.
