OHHHHHHH! Perhaps you can help me with some of my I L L U S I V E
Surry Co. relatives!!!! puh-leeez;)
BOWMAN'S, PACK's and FAWs. Mt Airy area, near the quarry (Flat Rock) and
some near the VA line. I'm looking for Lila Bowman (G-Gma), Lillian Oma
Bowman Faw, Lucy Ella Bowman Vipperman (my paternal grandma), Lilly
Bowman Pack, Jim Pack, Simon Bowman, Jathina (J Thighney) Bowman,
Elsie Pack, Herbert & Hennis (maybe Ennis) Pack, Walter Bowman, Wiley
Bowman. These folks have me stymied.
If you have a clue as to where I can find info on these folks PLEASE let me
know.
As for the QUESE(i)NBERRY'S, let me know where your line comes in and we'll
go from there.
Here's my line:
My Grandfather was Junie Earls Q. son of Thomas Lee Q. son of Ananias Q.,
son of James Q., son of John Q. the oldest son of (Capt.) GEORGE
QUESENBERRY and Martha Slinker. Old George is supposed to be our pioneering
Q’berry here and it's belie~d he's the son of a JOHN QUESTENBURG of
Germany. (That's a whole 'nother chapter.}
Now some of these fellas married Q'berry girls so you can imagine the headache I've had unraveling this one!!! I'm kin to myself a couple of times and they cross back & forth on my grandmothers side too so I could have my own personal reunion! LOL
Enough for now, write when you get a chance.
