Andy Key and Laura is the parents of
Richard Key ans Richard is my daughter's Grandfather--
He was born Oct. 31, 1904 in North Carolina and he married Vivan Alice
Cook--born on Feb 16, 1917 in Honoluu, Hawaii. Vivian's parents were
Harold Cooke of Montana and Emily Costa of Hawaii.
Richard and Vivian were married on April 19, 1939 in Honolulu.. They
have three children:
1-Betty Key married Frank Rita
They have 7 children:
Ronald,Patrick, Sheila, Gloria, Lawrence, Frank, Nelson
2-Richard Key Jr.married Shyleen Kaohe
They have 3 sons--
Robert, Ricky and Randy Key
3-Arthur Key---had 2 children with Lydia Guzman
1--Arthur Key Jr. has a son--Travis Key
2-Cheryl Key
Then Arthur married Chanelle Gusman
they have 2 children
1-Levi Key
2-Leina Key
I have more info for you but I wanted to write this so you see the
ocnnection.
Also, I have the death cert of Laura Columbia Key she died Juy 22, 1930
in Amelia, Virginia--family said she was buried in VA then later removed
to be buried in NC with Andy..I don't have the death date of Andy..
I have the index of marriages of Scurry County 1869-1899 only the Key
and Simpson pages--I notice you missing some marriage dates--I have
them!!
I was in VA in August --Sept 2001 and I did some research while I was
there..
I talked to Wendell Key Jr on phone and
Alice Lea Key Goodman ,too.
Also, Margie Key Shipp passed away on August 9, 2001 in VA.
