as noted to the Alford Association ( Elzey lineage) from Mobile Press Register obit. When I wrote the obit, I made sure to include lineage for other Elzey/ Ellzey members to assist on genealogy searches. I am now in possession of all the information collected for the last 30 yeasr by my parents for all my family surnames. My database contains over 28,000 names. I am in process of completing some additional research to complete a /book/ text of this genealogical research, currently at 1500 pages with a detail index of names of 133 pages. This data comprises almost 100 % of descendants of John Shaffer Ellzey, as well as his ancestry.
