Sure, I'll try,David. I'm 1:Patty Stevette Dobbins Green - father 2:Stephen Gilmer Dobbins, Jr. his father 3:Stephen Gilmer Dobbins (Gilmer in picture). his father and mother: 4-Thomas Abraham Dobbins and Nancy Ardella Venable - then her father and mother were Stephen G. Venable and Kesiah (Kizzie) Jones Venable (daughter of Ambrose and Nancy) ETC. I have a little more detail from research my aunts did about 15 years ago if you need dates, etc.. They copied information from the Venable (sp. Venerable with many of the names as I'm sure you know - I really need to look at your site, huh? - will you send a link?) family Bible and verified back through Jessie Venable and Nancy Bowles (married January 29,1823. They traced our Phillips lines back to 1733 and Dockery to 1825 and Dobbins to 1796. They only wrote what they could verify. Remarkable for no computers,isn't it?
