- 93. Verla Jane Gearhart was born on February 6, 1909, She graduated from High School at Low Point, Illinois, and later from Brown's Business College in Peoria, Illinois. Verla married William Strouse and later divorced. She had no children. She died on February 14, 1992, and is interred at Lawn Ridge, Marshall County, Illinois, next to her sister, Irene.
