Corbet Cochran Sr makes a reference that Humphrey died ca. 1870 at the residence of Arnie Lykins, at White Oak KY, Magoffin Co. source: Geneology Newspaper, Salyersville, Ky.
1.) He granted a deed to David Witherspoon in 1902 book C1 pg 376 index 7c Wilkes County NC....deed granted by Humphrey Cockerham. Possibly buried at Arnie and cordice Lykins place. H.W. listed in 1905, 1907, 1908 wilks Co. NC Listed on pg 184. 1790 census lists 22 Cochrans as head of household.
