Hi everybody: I think I was supposed to let you all know that Aleane's sister died Wednesday, a week ago in Florida. Aleane said the funeral was Tuesday of this past week. Aleane is, naturally, upset because everyone thought her sister was getting better. Linda was diabetic and was in the hospital because of a wound on her foot that would not heal. She was 49 and died under suspicious circumstances in the hospital. Her daughter told Aleane that she thought her mother had been given the wrong medicine. They are doing an autopsy. I apologize if I have told you all this. Earl and I went over and had lunch at Shoney's with them today and visited a while at their home. Just wanted to make sure you knew about Aleane's sister. Both Aleane and Johnny seem depressed. Apparently Linda's death was not at all expected. In fact, she had planned to visit Aleane in a few weeks. Deanna
