    “Civil War Veteran”, written in my mother’s hand on the reverse.

      about 3 miles from Walkertown. There is no marker.
      !Marshall 0127, p. 13 - He served in the Civil War, was wounded in the leg and
      was taken prisoner. He was released after the war.
