!Her birth & death date along with their marriage information comes from "The
Journal of the Surry County Genealogical Association", November, 1993, page 8. Her death date was not actually given but the "Mt. Airy News" article was
dated December 19, 1901 (Thursday) and said that she died Friday night. That
would have been December 13, 1901.

Mrs. Mary A. Sparger, wife of Henry Sparger, d. last Friday at home on N. Center St.;Services at Methodist church by Rev. J. R. Wages of Decatur, bur. Willow Wild cem.;Methodist for 52 years;Maiden name: Mary Ann Cook;b. Surry County, N.C. 12 May 1827;Then lived in Surry Co. until 1876, to Bonham that year;Survivors: husband & 5 of 7 children, Jeff, John, Miss Mattie Sparger, Mrs. NEWMAN and Mrs. LOWRY of N.C.

!Marshall 0001 - The date of his death is listed as 1833. The family records
say that he was 55 at his death. That can't be correct because then he would
Have been born the same year as his brother, Ruben. According to Creasy's
Manuscript (page 2), John (4) is buried in "Taylor Grave Yard" just outside of Mount Airy, North Carolina. However, I have a letter from Gil Robertson, who lived in Mount Airy, that states he was buried with his wife in Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Mt Airy. Friedburg, where he was born, is near Winston Salem, North Carolina.
