Garrett Boswell born 1800 in Albemarle County, VA, died April 8,1856 in Audrain County, MO. Married Martha Ann Dollins born Nov 22, 1819 in Orange County, VA., died Nov 30, 1877 in Audrain Co, MO

Son:

Albert Boswell, bNov 18, 1824 in Stokes County, NC, d. Oct 2,1898 in Mt. Etna, Iowa. My family has lived in and around Mt. Etna, Iowa ever since Albert and Sara (Sally) his wife brought their children here in a covered wagon. My Mom, Bernice grew up on the farm. They had large family gatherings as there were Boswell farms all over this area.

Son:

John Albert Boswell, b 1859 d. 1959 at a farm near Mt Etna, Iowa. Yes, he was 100.

Son:

Elza Boswell b. 1896 d. 1993 at a farm near Mt. Etna, Iowa.

Daughter:

Shirley Boswell Huntington b 1935 d 2017- this is my Mom.

This picture was taken in 1900 when the family gathered to settle Albert John and Sally?s estate.

He and Margaret moved from Albamarle County, Virginia to Stokes County, North Carolina, then to Washington County, Missouri, then to Vermillion County, Indiana, then to Barry County, Missouri. Apparently they both died there.
