Bobby's obit.

Robert ?Bobby? Earl Brewer, 48, Jacksonville, died at 11:30pm, Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from a sudden heart attack.

Bobby was born September 18, 1967, in Columbia, SC. He worked as an independent contractor and was a member of The Church at Argyle in Jacksonville, FL.

He loved God, family, life and Harley Davidson motorcycles. We hope in that order.

He is survived by his son, Robert ?Bobby? Lee Brewer, Greenville, SC; his mother and step-father, Jean and Terry Wright, Jacksonville, FL; his father, Charles L. Brewer, Steelton, PA; his step-grandmother, Deanna Brewer, Columbia, SC; two brothers, Charles D. Brewer, Steelton, PA and Chad Brewer, Orange Park, FL; two nephews, D.J. Brewer and Codie Brewer; and one niece, Cassidy Brewer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Leila Cooper, Earl and Sybil Brewer.

Services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, December 12th at The Church at Argyle located at 6823 Argyle Forest Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32244. We are asking friends and family to speak with kind words or funny stories to celebrate Bobby?s life. Continuing the celebration of life, family and friends will be accepting guests after the service at 314 Willow Green Dr, Orange Park, FL. I spent much time in the hospital with Deanna as Earl's health declined. He is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in the Brewer Family plot. Hie parents, two brothers, sister, and his first wife, Sybil, are all buried there. There is also a memorial to his brother who was killed in Germany in World War II. That brother is buried in Belgum. (DWM - 10/16/2002)

Earl had a history of heavy smoaking and drinking when he was younger. Before his death and anurysm was found close to his kidneys. They could not operate because his heart and lungs were very weak. He died of multiple medical problems including diabetes.

Deanna called me one morning a few days before his death. She asked me to come sit with him until she could get a sitter. She left for work at about 11:00 AM. sometime between 11:30 and 12:00 noon Earl told me to call an ambulance because he was not feeling well. I did that and they took him to Providence Hospital. Later he was transferred to Providence Hospital in downtown Columbia. He died there after a few days. (David W. Marshall, Sr.)

When Earl died I attended his funeral. He is buried in the same plot with his parents. I took pictures of all the tomestones I could see and this was one of them. (DWM - November 2002)

Roy married Mamie SMITH. Mamie was born on 22 Feb 1904; died on 11 May 1970; was buried in Florence, Florence County, South Carolina. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
