Pinckney Lewis and Hattie Boatwright's 4th child was Charles Wilbur Lewis --- not Charles Weldon Lewis. Charlie's wife, Annie Lee Foster, is still living. She attended the 2002 Lewis Family Reunion.
Charlie and Ann's older son, Charles Norris Lewis was born in April 1934 and died in March 1996. Norris's wife attended the 2002 Lewis Family Reunion.

Charlie and Ann's younger son, Luther attended the 2002 Lewis Family

Pitman and Intha's 4th (and last) child. You have "Pickney Pittman Lewis". The Family Bible lists "Pinckney Pitman Lewis". The name "Pinckney" was used interchangbly with "Pinkney" ( particularly in the census), and was often abbreviated to "Pink". We already mentioned that Pitman was spelled both ways, although two "T"s was more widely used during the 1700's and one "I" was more widely used during the 1800's. My records suggest that Pinckney Pitman Lewis was born 18-August-1847 not 8-August-1847 as you suggest. (per gravemarker). You have his date-of-death correct.

Pinckney married Hattie Louvenia BOATWRIGHT. Hattie was born on 1 Nov 1866; died on 10 Jul 1942. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Pinckney Pitman Lewis married Hattie Louvenia Boatwright ( alternatively spelled Boatright).
"Boatwright" seems more widely used prior to 1875.
"Boatright" seems more widely used following 1875.

Pinckney Pitman Lewis and Hattie L Boatwright were married around 3-September-1891, supposedly performed by B. H. Hoyle ( Methodist). There are different ideas concerning the location --- some say Hattie’s hometown near Charlotte, others say Rutherford County. It may have been performed near Charlotte and recorded in Rutherford County.

Hattie L Boatwright was born 1 -November-1866 instead of 11-Novernber-1866. The date of death matches her grave marker. Pinckney Pitman Lewis and Hattie L Boatwright had 8 children as you suggest. Lila was born 24-September-1892.
